Bigfork Visitor Information
There’s a good reason Bigfork has become a premier destination in the Northwest. In addition to the shopping our village has become famous for, Bigfork also offers some of the finest dining, gallery hopping, and regional theatre you’ll find anywhere.
Plus there’s Mother Nature. Bigfork sits on the northeast bank of Flathead Lake – the largest, natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi. There are more rivers and streams than we can count. And just about as many golf courses. Glacier National Park and all its trails full of wilderness and wildlife is a short drive away. Not to mention The Bob Marshall Wilderness Area, Jewel Basin, The Flathead National Forest, and Bigfork’s very own Nature Trail that begins right on the edge of town and winds along The Wild Mile of the Swan River.
Whether you’d like to shop, dine, enjoy art and theatre, golf, boat, fish, hike, kayak, swim, or simply rest and relax, Bigfork is an ideal spot for you to spend some time.
